Elegant and sporty ladies' timepieces are part of the Maison's tradition. The legendary collection 222, launched in 1977, already included a ladies' version in gold or two-tone (gold and steel) with a quartz movement. Nineteen years later, Vacheron Constantin is presenting the Overseas collection, comprising three models, including a ladies' model with a quartz movement as in the 222 collection, particularly appreciated by customers for its precision and practicality. The new Overseas Lady quartz features a 33 mm diameter case with a sporty look, combines femininity and glamour. The dial, framed by the diamond-set bezel, is lacquered in black with a soleil finish, creating a pleasing contrast with the facetted, luminescent white gold hour markers and hands. This practical and highly legible timepiece displays a sporty look accentuated by the lines of the case, which is water-resistant to 50 metres, combined with an interchangeable steel bracelet. With a case diameter of 33 mm, the model is suitable for all wrists and presents a style that evolves throughout the day (thanks to the aforementioned bracelet, which can be exchanged for a strap), offering many different styles: a concept launched in 2016 to align the Overseas collection with its era. The watch thus opts for modularity and a personalised touch, and can be worn with a metal bracelet made up of links forming a half Maltese cross (for a more casual look), with a leather strap (a more chic variant) or with a rubber strap (for a sporty note), without the need for tools for replacement. The hexagonal bezel, whose shape recalls Vacheron Constantin's emblematic Maltese cross, is decorated with 78 brilliant-cut diamonds. To optimise functionality, a quartz movement has been chosen, which also drives a central seconds hand and a date display by means of a 3 o'clock aperture. Available in three versions - two steel models with a black or blue "denim" dial and a pink gold model with a white dial - this new watch possesses all the qualities expected of a timepiece with character, while retaining its innate charm.
